The Ridge Project, Inc. is an Ohio faith-based, Christian, non-profit. We provide relationship education, leadership training, character & ethics training, and employment skills development. We serve middle-school and high-school students, and adults involved in the criminal justice system. The Entrepreneurship & Workforce Development Intern will assist with the implementation and operation of The RIDGE Project’s TYRO Entrepreneurship Program (TEP) within correctional and community-based settings.

Interns will gain practical experience in entrepreneurship education, workforce development, leadership development, nonprofit operations, event coordination, mentorship development, AI-assisted business planning, community engagement, and restorative reentry programming.

Interns will assist with entrepreneurship workshops, networking events, mentor coordination, participant engagement, Pitch Night preparation, and operational support activities.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to build professional skills, expand business and community connections, and gain meaningful real-world experience while contributing to a mission-driven program that creates lasting impact in the lives of participants and communities.

Interns will work directly alongside Project Directors, facilitators, entrepreneurs, business mentors, community leaders, and workforce development professionals while supporting innovative programming designed to create long-term personal and economic transformation.

TEP is an entrepreneurship and workforce development initiative designed to help justice-involved individuals develop entrepreneurial thinking, leadership skills, business concepts, workforce readiness, and long-term pathways toward economic stability and successful community reintegration.

This is a paid full-time internship that provides hands-on experience in entrepreneurship, workforce development, nonprofit leadership, restorative reentry, mentorship development, and innovative correctional programming.
