The Ridge Project, Inc. is an Ohio faith-based, Christian, non-profit. We provide relationship education, leadership training, character & ethics training, and employment skills development. We serve middle-school and high-school students, and adults involved in the criminal justice system. Job Purpose

  • 1 | SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:

    The goal of the TYRO Support Services Operations Department is to provide seamless, consistent, and predictable support in inventory management, customer database, customer support, merchandise fulfillment, and content/marketing creation to support the TYRO TEAM to ensure that they have the tools and infrastructure needed to maximize their impact – both in serving customers and in sustaining and expanding the organization. The Operations Coordinator will provide support in the following areas:

    – Customer care – Maintain the customer database, connect with customers regularly, and anticipate customer needs .

    – Operations management – Provide inventory management, customer database, customer support, merchandise fulfillment.

    – Marketing/Content support – Support product development and marketing material design/creation.

Working Conditions

  • This is a full time position.  The work schedule can be flexible and will be established with the CEO.  In general, the Operations Manager will work M-F averaging 40+ hours weekly.  Some travel will be required. 
  • The Operations Manager will complete the following forms and turn them in to the CEO every two weeks:  Daily Activity Log, Phone Log and mileage, if applicable. Reimbursement will be made for business mileage (other than to and from base office) at the rate established by the Board.   
  • This position will be reviewed annually by the CEO.  This work contract will be discussed at the time of the annual review, or at any other time, at the discretion of the CEO.  This position does include health and life insurance benefits.  Vacation and sick leave benefits do apply, in accord with Board policy.

Skills You Need

2 | MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Meet regularly, as determined by CEO, with all direct reports to maintain awareness of all Project activities and issues.
  • Must enforce all rules and policies of TSS, both for the TYRO program and in his/her personal life as applicable.
  • Direct sales
  • Research new leads
  • Collaborate with CEO in development of proposals.
  • Must participate in any required program training.
  • Ensure infrastructure to serve our partners.
  • Work with vendors to get materials as needed for inventory
  • Manage and track inventory levels in QuickBooks
  • Communicate with partners regularly to meet their needs
  • Travel to conferences as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.
