Company Profile:
The Ridge Project, Inc. is an Ohio faith-based, Christian, non-profit.  We provide relationship education, leadership training, character & ethics training, and employment skills development.  We serve middle-school and high-school students, and adults involved in the criminal justice system. Through our unique and cutting-edge programs, we seek to end generational cycles of family disintegration by training clients to have strong, healthy and permanent marriages, and to be responsible citizens and role models in their schools, families and/or communities. We are seeking well-qualified individuals to join our team.

 

1 | Summary of Functions:

  • To facilitate youth programming.
  • Equip and support parents as the primary educators of their children.
  • To present the youth development program elements to participants.
  • To work in tandem with the Project Director to reach youth and families with innovative programming to bring permanent positive transformations.
  • To comply with all policies, procedures, and tenets of The Ridge Project.

2 | MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Must perform all facilitator functions, including assessment, workshop preparation and presentation and organizing and coordinating and leading field trips, etc. as required by Manager.
  • Maintain all written records in each participant’s file (e.g. assessments, progress notes, incident reports, correspondence, etc.) in a timely fashion, updating no less than weekly.
  • Must maintain accurate program reports including attendance sheets, count forms, locations served and any other Ridge or grant required records.
  • Must maintain safety and order of the participants at all times.
  • Must provide all case management functions.
  • Must enforce and uphold all rules and policies of The Ridge Project
  • Operates office equipment including computers, copiers, and fax machines.
  • Must be familiar with computer systems, manuals and policies and procedures.
  • Must participate in any required program training and remain on top of new trends by attending workshops, seminars, conferences, meetings, etc. as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    Physical requirements

    To perform this job:

    • You will need to be able to stand and speak for long periods of time, sit and drive for long periods of time, will need to walk, and may need to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. 
    • You will regularly use hands to handle, or feel; type, with hands, reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
    • You will need to use close vision; distance vision; peripheral vision; depth perception and an ability to adjust focus.
    • You may occasionally be required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for distances of 100 yards or more.
